I Need Your Financial Support!

Dear Friends,

I need your financial support. I am currently running for Oakland County Commission in the 22nd district, covering the areas of Oak Park, Huntington Woods, Pleasant Ridge, Royal Oak Township and part of Southfield. So far, the campaign is going well. We have been posting our signs at dozens of local businesses and as we know, small businesses are at the epicenter of our county’s success.

During the next four months my team will be knocking on nearly every business and home in our district to spread the message of fiscal responsibility during these hard times.

The current county commission is split 12-12. This means if my opponent wins, the commission would fall under Democratic control and we have all seen the disastrous results to our state under Democratic leadership. We need to stop this from happening.

We have a good chance of winning this election, but I need a groundswell of support, as well as money in the war chest to compete with a very tough and well-financed opponent.

I am a fiscal hawk, and a well-respected member of our Oak Park community. I intend to fight for all the people in my district and have never been known to back down from doing the right thing. Fiscal conservatism is what our county continues to need. This is why Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson has endorsed me.

Please donate to my campaign. Money is extremely tight and every dollar counts. You can donate any amount from a single dollar to a maximum $500. Please click on the donate button. If you prefer, you can send a check to ‘Committee to Elect Ezra Drissman’ to 14121 Winchester, Oak Park 48237.

After you have donated, please take a moment to forward this letter to your neighbor.

Thank you,

Ezra

15,500 People Campaign

We're kicking off a new initiative... the 15,500 People Campaign.

In 2008, my opponent raised $15,505 for her campaign. While we also sincerely appreciate donations - our campaign is truly about the people of Oak Park, Southfield, Huntington Woods, Pleasant Ridge and Royal Oak Township.

Our goal is to meet 15,500 of you living in these areas and hear from you about your concerns regarding your neighborhoods and cities. Who knows best about what your city needs? You do!

As part of this initiative we would love to hear from you even before we come to your town. Please feel free to drop us a message anytime with your ideas and suggestions.

We are looking forward to knocking on your door - and meeting the 15,500 of you who really care about your city.
